c20xe cam belt change

is it easy to change the belt while the engine is in the car my engine is not in yet and i was planning to change it before i put it in. but i got excited and took the head off to get it gas flowed.

i dont think i will get the head tourqued up with the engine not in the car.

so can it be done with engine in car as i know its all very close. or am i gonna have to put it in tourque the head up then take it out to do the belt

come on has no one ever done a belt change on there nova

It can be done in the car or out, its all easy

In fact i had head off a 16v in a corsa last week for a racer

yeah mate it can be done but theres not alot of space. I would be easier to do it while you've got the engine out!
