I had a number of requests at PVS how I stripped the wiring away and hid it and what was behind the dash after I removed it.

Well... here are some pictures (and random ones) of the work in progress at the time showing the mess I eventually hid. Very stressful at the time as I it had to be my daily driver and useable!

If anyones thinking of doing it let me know and I can hopefully save a few blown fuses and fires! Let me know what you think as well, good to here what people say as Ive keep relatively low key on the scene for the past 2 years while biulding it.

The wonders of MDF! This template was on for about eighteen months before I decided on a final design and made it in carbon.

If you wer watching your car all day,lol

I was the guy walking round it(with my hand under the arch) wondering how you made the arches fit your 18's..did you just weld a new widend arch and thwn weld that on top and cut your old one back that was under it inside?

lol! No the centre of the arches have been cut out, pulled out and metal welded over the gaps which it left. Then all the lips removed and smoothed.

Took two attempts at the rear as the lips werent cut back enough and rippled the whole rear quarters when they caught on the tyres!

Dont catch at all on the arch but the inner ones still do when I drove over potholes.

Camped on TVs stand as I tried to repair the damage on the bumper round there, borrowing the guys on the JVC Corsas tools. (read:duc tape as thats the best I could do)

Most of the loom came out eventually, the only bits that remain are the rear lighting wires that go across from one side to the other at the back - seemed pointless replacing them as they have the rear light plugs on them.

WOW! :o Some work went into that! Fair play.

I love seeing before and after shots. Always makes a good worth doing when you see the difference.

So whats next? I know about the LET transplant and the extra Carbon bits but is there anything else your going for?

Ahh, you're the guy that was in the latest TV. I wasn't at PV this year :( and these are the first proper pics of your car that I've seen (other than the TV feature). I didn't realise it was yours, lol. You have stripped it out nicely. I'm not going as extreme as you, well,, not yet anyway.
