Is the Nova a Retro car ???

Me and Brett are thinking of going to the Retro Car show at santa pod - but not sure whether to go in the nova - I'm not sure whether you would call it a retro car - The first ones were built around 1983 ish - Around the same time as a Mk1 Golf, which I would class as a retro car !!

I'd class the nova as a boardline case !! - What do u lot think !!

im not sure, id call the very early mk1's like you say retro but then they look same as the later 1992 apart from headlights and rear window surrounds, not alot noticeable unlike the golfs, where the mk1's are deff retro as their whole shape has changed over time.

go in hte nova they havent made novas for 10 yrs and the first ones late 82, are 22 yrs old now! lol

Yup if Mk1 golfs get away with being retro and mk1 cavaliers etc... then a nova is certainly a retro car.

I think they just scrape in.

The Corsa has been the current small Vaux model for a fair time now.

The styling is defo retro - sharp angular edges.

Dave, i am going down in my nova and in my eyes it kind of retro. So meet up before we go in and no one will pick on us! We will be taking down a mk1 golf 16v we have just built aswell so think we should get on the strip in that.

I think its going to be a great show and the trade stands should have a few bits to spend my money on.

Suppose it depepnds what Yr. and what ya done to it. The Sport's def Retro!! Anyone who doesn't give a Sport respec' at tha show needs a schmack.
Abyss kits'll be a definate no-no I'm sure.
