i took my seats out to re-carpet and now they dont work! neither of the fronts lock in any position, ive even tried the seats out of my spare nova, they do the same. they also wobble on the inside side on both fronts. i did take the black plastic runner covers off and not put them back yet, is this the problem?

Yes thats probably your problem there, the seats run along them and holds them down without them they'll have the room to wobble.
