off topic then!
iv only got 2 seat and my log book says 5, do i have to change that?
dont have a clue mate, but not declaring the engine is quite bad
change it on your V5 (is it called that?) and take it down the Post Office. They will sort it out for you

Yep, its the V5. And theyll keep it for 3 months, then loose it, deny theyve lost it, send another one out with the old details on and loose that. Good luck.
hmmmm mr optomistic lol
apparently its taking a little while longer to do the V5 change as they are issuing the V5c, new format.
my ownership transfer took 3-4weeks. i was getting paranoid so i called the DVLA, and they explained. lovely.
as for fronting or anyother insurance fraud. i do hope you get caught so the rest of us dont have to pay for you.

I agree. It was the fact they said after 3 months it was all sorted and I finally got an exact (but new) copy of the old one!

Give HIC a call for insurance, they were the only people who would cover me like for like and everything declared with an agreed evaluation.
Oh and the V5 was sorted out with apologies from the DVLA. It was quite convienient it was in the bodyshop for 4 months while I was trying to sort it so it wasnt on the road.

what was it all about the topics been deleted
was someone asking if anyone had a nova with a different engine that hadnt been changed on the log book :?
I can think of a 1 good reason not to change your logbook to a higher cc capacity, eg, 2.0, apart from tax  ,
When it comes to selling a 2.0 nova, most people who want it cant get insurance for a 2.0 and will always ask if its on the logbook as a 2.0, so for resale easiness its better to leave it,
just my opinion.

well if they can not get insuracne for a 2.0l, it means something there to young and can not handle the power,
so they will just crash it an cost the 'good' people more on there insurance
