struddelin with the insurance 4 this turbo at the mo ne way so might not be on the cards ne way
pished off that mines so high when ive not had an acciedent or ne thing basically seems am payin high due to stereotypical views on young drivers and the insurance shits themselveves as soon as u say 23 (my age) and the word turbo

scott
mate, I'm sure if you tried the right companies you could get it quite cheap with your age...
Ask Breeny who he was with he had his LET Nova when he was 21 (?) IIRC
id say go for it.
big car, its gonna be fairly fast. me dad had a 620 Ti and it sodding flew
just make sure you have good tyres for the wet on thr front as rovers tend to understeer like mofos.
try norwich union for insurance
is a 23yr old can insure an omega for less than ?500 then im sure a 2l turbo shouldnt be a problem lol
dont do it epo
as cambridge said "my dad had a 620"
your not old enough yet
Epo, try www.elephant.co.uk (which i think are done by Norwich Union)... they quoted me ?750 or so TPFT (+?100 for FC) for a 98 Nissan 200SX S14a (2.0 16v Turbo, gp 17) and i'm 22 with 5yrs ncb, 3pts, parked on driveway, 12,000 miles a year etc
Ok so ?750 is somewhat expensive, but when you consider most of the other companies wouldn't even quote me, and those that did were just silly prices its not too bad!! :P
You can get insured on anything if your willing to pay the price... trust me :)
I;ve just had this dilemma. My dad offered me a 2ltr 16v Turbo Diesel (1994cc, 190bhp) Rover 400 saloon. Its 5 door n much space for giving lifts etc. taxed n mot'd.
So i decided to take it but am not sure wot i am gunna do with the mini. The 600 and 200 seem to be most popular rovers, so a 820 modded would be different.
I'm 17 and gone on a policy with my dad, total ?503.46. Not bad i suppose
i first tried cis they wudnt then i tried em in r lasses name was on the phone an hour waitin 4 a quote while they spoke to the underwriters and they never even bothered gettin back to me
tried a few others and they were stupidly high
ill keep lookin
but also lookin at buyin a 5 turbo so will have to see what comes up
dont get a 5 :?
get a rs turbo 8)
was lookin for one but there really expensive like i ay ill just keep my eyes open for one
Good man, i have a multi coloured 1.2i for sale if you want it :P
nooooooooooooooooo dont get an rs ull get problems in the first month of ownin it i promise them engines are wank
does it have a turbo :?
I can buy the thing from ebay to trick you into thinking it has  :D
but ill have to have a dump valve too
