Wat do u think i should do i recently wrote off my 2l 16v but the engine is fine. The day i wrote it off i went and bought a 1.3sr with twin 40's. Simple fact is it seems to bloody slow after having a 2l. Shall i sell the new car and my 2l engine (which i no was done properly) or just put the 2l in my new car? (lots of time)? i have advertised the 1.3 but no response yet. HELP! :?
its a decision no one can make but yourself, id be tempted to sell the 2l and keep the 1.3 or start a new project with the 2l

if the 1.3sr is a minter then i would say keep it and start getting it looking better and keep standard. and get rid of the valver!! but that is what i think.

as ppl said it's your choice, but i would drop in the valver and keep the 1.3 body work as it is(even if it's rusty) and do a nice street sleeper...
he he 1.3 sr,put a very small 16v badge somewhere  :D
scott
drop the valver in it

cheers peeps. the sr has already got a bodykit and that on it. i dont no if the feature is workin yet but the top one is my 2l with a picture of it smashed up and the second one is the sr. have a look.
keep it a 1.3 on carbs. DONT be a sheep and put a fucking xe in. there are far tooooo many about its boring and dull
as above. it will cost loads to get the performance that you need but at least it will be a little different to the MANY valvers around

i always said i'd never get a valver but its cheap an easy to do to make a reasonably fast car. An my 1400 wasnt beating the cars i wanted to.
