View Full Version : The xe is being turbo'ed
Well after watching a a couple of nova turbo's going up the strip, i have decided to turbo my xe!
Guna start it after trax, and im going to do it myself. Already started looking for parts and have so far sourced, top hat, cams, wiring loom & ecu(not 100%yet) , injectors, intercooler and pipe work!
The main cost is going to be the turbo itself, so its time tostart saving!
Cantwait to get stuck in!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
nick dans, his car wont ever be ready
true, u think he would notice if i walked off with his fmic and turbo
T45's look at the results Chris T's been getting, also much more reliable than wank turbo's.
Ask dan for his advice
NIce one mate, you will kill the 220 next time
my advice is to sell the nova buy an omega and become gay like camb!
i feel like flogging my engine and buying a 250hp tb set up lol

Sounds fantastic. Want to stick a 2 Turbo in mine but a little cash strapped at the mo.
Get hold of a Pug Mi16 head and whack it on the XE block (I've heard they go on without too much hassle) then fit TB's.
The big advantage being the inlet will then be at the front of the head rather than the rear - loads of cold air from the grille = loads of power at the wheels!!
:D
or get a touring car block wich also has reveresed head.
I suspect that the Mi16 head would be (a lot) cheaper though!!!
