exhaust swap

now this is a complicated one.my mate who is also a member of this site (foleyleigh) has got a k reg 1.2 injection nova. he just brought a full magnex exhaust system from a 1.4sr right through to the manifold. obviuosly this wouldnt match up to his manifold coz his is only a single branch down pipe and the magnex was a twin.the person he got it off gave him the 1.4 sr manifold as well so that he could fit that on but the original injection manifold has some plug thing with a wire going to the injection system. Can he rip out his old injection manifold and put the 1.4 sr one in?? wot could he do with the wire that runs to the injection system if he did.If not would he be better going to an exhaust fabricators??thanks

He will need to go to someone to have the screw thread fabricated into the new stainless manifold and it's a lambda sensor, It's for fuelling calculations for ECU so it won't run/run very badly without it!

It would be easy to do, take the old sensor out, find a nut that it fits properly, choose the right drill bit, drill hole in exactly the same place as original one is, get the nut welded on and check it before you hand over the cash.
