F13 ON A 2.O16V

Probably not cos the 16v flywheel will be to big for the box to go over and the imput shaft will be to small to fit the flywheel even if you changed the flywheel I dont think you would get a starter to fit!
I wouldn't bother anyway cos it'll f@ck it straight away its not built for that amount of power or LB/FT.

yup can be done, i've fitted an f10 on to a 1.8 8v and an f13 onto a 2.0 8v...... but i wouldn't recomend it for the 2.0 16v due to the power

The reason i need to know is coz i am doing a 2.0 16v conversion on my nova. i have everything i need except the drive shafts,ive rang about and i dont really fancy paying in excess of 300 quid for em.

ive heard you can do a bodge with 22 spline nova shafts and cavvy inner cv joints but i dunno exactly how strong and reliable they will be plus ive gotta rip apart god knows how many nova shafts to find the 22 spline ones

easier to get the cav inners ?30 each and some 22 teethed shafts

look for a gte nova pair of shafts and the cavy cvs will fit.

also you will still be using the nova driveshafts if u use the f13 box so you still will have the weak shafts. but you will also have the weak box to worry about.

just get the cav cvs and u will be fine. plus they are only 15 quid a side in the scrappy

probably will do but is the a way of finding out what shafts are the 22 spline ones without taking em apart to see inside the cv.

also what reg and cc is the cavvy that im after

any 1.6 carb mk 2 cavy. to make sure ask when you get the cvs if they are for the cavy that ran a BIG BLOCK 1.6.

unless i was just lucky ivefound that all gte nova shafts are 22 spline where as later mk 2 novas are different.
