No its not stolen- handy having a Bmw and being a member of US Bmw forums...

Different laws in the US regarding repairing cars that are written off.
Its for export only simply because it cant legally be put back on the road in the US

That to me says that it's in the UK?
Or is the owner in the UK and his car is in the US (Which the pics would suggest)? If that's the case then, if it's such a nice example, why doesn't he import it to the UK himself and keep it?

It's a teaser that's for sure.

Yeah I was gonna mention that. Read it properly, 5 Door Owner!!

Doesn't really sound dodgy. Having said that, I would want to see the car and do some serious checks on it before I would bid on it
