Engine Conversion

Can anyone do an engine conversion for me cheaper than just novas???
im looking at getting a 1.4 sr engine or a gte/gsi engine. My car is a 1.2 J plate carb model. So far i have been qouted ?400 for an sr engine supplied and fitted and ?700 for a gsi engine supplied and fitted....Cheers

lol do it ur self the sr lump would be i direct replacement! few more bits to do the gte where bouts u from i live in leighton buzzard

mate if u r fitting a small block engine do it yourself u can can fit a 2.0l yourself i have done a few. i am in stoke pm me if you are close and i will do it if u r supplying the engine.

I would have mate for around ?150 but I'm still putting my car back together and doing a saloon valver for my mate.
