URGENT!! ignition help

i snapped my only key to my nova. so i bought a new set of locks. how do i get the ignition barrel out? please help

i take it the key is still in the ignition barrel if so on the back of it is a little hole i usually use abit of metal coat hanger to shove in the hole then turn the key to the first click i think and pull it out if u havnt got the key for it big drill bit time
