wot motor/relay can i use for a homemade single wiper conversion? Ive heard some metro 1s work or summet. All im gunna do is get the other hole filled at the bodyshop whilst everythin else is gettin done, buy a bigger wiper blade and modify or fit a new motor so it wipes the whole winda.

the cheapest way is to simple disconnet 1 wiper linkage and use the shorter 1

dont think you will ever get it to do the whole window

u need to change the linkage type rather than the motor, any motor shud work.try usin a citreon ax setup as they are single wiper standard .dunno if itll work tho. :roll:

thanks, yea 'linkage' was the word i was lookin for :oops: ill give it a go n see if it works. jus cant be arsed payin ?60+ for a kit when i can do it myself so next to nothin

shorten the T piece by 6-8mm, depending on the coverage you want - the more you remove, the larger the coverage (dont go too far or it will catch on the bulkhead. It IS as good a bought wiper conversion

i done the above mentioned, works fine, passes mot fine, and police are happy with it also, 6-8mm its perfect
