taken me quite a while, as never done before- but have a look.

lots of patience, cost maybe ?90 for all the fibre glass, body filler, wet & dry, primer, paint, lacquer.

It's not perfect as can see the odd ripple, but like I said, have never done before.

Top tip, spary primer on to help with the shaping, as I didn't do this and found myself rubbing the filler away.

i take it u rust treated it all if not b prepared to do it all again in bout a year and it would of bin easier welding a new arch in

Looks like you've done a good job there mate. I've gotta get handy with the fibreglass again soon, one of the rear arches on my saloon is starting to look a bit flakey (shame, as apart from that its almost mint), so i'll keep the primer tip in mind!

i had rust like that on the project car. i just took an angle grinder and lopped the lower corner off lol

id rather weld in new metal then use loads of filler.

I spent ages with a wire brush and a hammer to make sure all the rust was well gone.

I don't have a angle grinder, and anyhow I just fancied doing if just to see really. The car is only a few quid qnyway, so if rust does come back, forget it. Will get something else.

The inside looks as good mate, really it was just the dents in the arch that I wanted sorting, the small amount of rust that was there, were'nt too bad. Lots more under the car, which i am slowly getting at.

Underseal is great !
