Generally I don't mind saxos and their drivers but my mate just slammed into the back of me friday nite their in the wet. What a twat.My poor wee car is now sittin outside my house needin lots of new bits. The only good thing is that it's goin through insurance so hopefully I can talk the repairer into smoothing the tailgate, fittin clear rear lights and sprayin the new sills and sideskirts at the same time :D.Just a bit of a bummer until I get it back!! Get a courtesy car tomoro though :D

I know tell me about it.Luckily the guy swervedjust befor ehittin me and caught the edge. The only thiong I'm worryin about is the fact that the rear arch is stickin rite out and abit cracked.Any ideas as to what'll happen. It needs ew bumper, exhaust, tailgate, lots of arch work and thats just what I can see!!It's a J plate Sri and they better not write it off as I just fitted my gmax kit two days ago!!

What they will do is assess the damage, and if its going to cost 70% of their valuation to repair, its a right off im afraid. And that way they'll give you a cheque for around ?500, their book price for a j plate SRI. Problem is, if you only just fitted the suspension might be a problem, if its not declared that is. As the other insurance company would want to see your policy b4 paying up.

When i had a smash they wrote my mk 1 g plate sr off, which was lowered, 15" alloys, peco back box, m3 mirrors, etc u get the idea, that was insured as standard. They gave me ?1000 and the car, cost me ?400 to get fixed and the rest was 4 me :-). so either was u can keep your sri
