After having a MK2 dash sitting in the garage for months, thought id get on and get it fitted today! Got the old one out fine, sorted all the wiring, but got a problem with the heater ducts!
Read the guide on Nova-Land about changing the dash, and it mentions that i need a MK2 top cover from the heater matrix. Had a look at the one ive got in the car already, and can see no way of removing the top cover, it appears that the top part goes all the way from the front, up to the bulk head! The car was originally a 1.0 base model which didnt have the side vents in the dash..
Have removed all the visable screws, am i doing something wrong with trying to remove this cover, or do i need to get hold of a new heater matrix??
