GTE ECU's - What's the difference?

Hi all, does n e one know the difference between the Bosch and the Siemens ECU in a Nova GTE - Why r there 2 different ECU's? What ECU is used in a GSI?

As long as its the early engine it will run just the same as the bosch ecu only the late gsi had a different ecu because it was a different inlet manifold and loom, just like the sri's. but all gte's are the same no matter who made the ecu.

oh and just to add. you cant swap them over.

Why can't u swap them over - do you just mean the ECU's? Can u swap the the Siemens loom and ECU for the Bosch loomand ECU?

Yeah can swap looms over easily enough to swap the ECU's may have a sensor or two spare but just lob em off :lol:
