I got probs. My nova got hit up arse couple of weeks back which for some reason stopped the petrol gauge workin properly i got underneath it to check the wires on the float and accidently pulled whole thing out of tank.I lost all the petrol before i managed to get it back in. So after losin the petrol i had pissed off face on and put 2 more gallons into the tank and since then it wont start because it aint gettin fuel to it its a 1.4i (single point). does anybody have any ides what this could b

I've been messing around with my sender recently a last week had the whole tank out. Every time i drained the tank it took about a minute of turning it over and turning the ignition on and off (To get the fuel pump going) to get my engine started again. Have you checked that your fuel pump is working properly? Try switching the ignition on and you should hear it for a second. If you can't hear it it might mean you need a new pump :(
