how many people this year will be running high powered small block engines?
as opposed to the usual xe or let?
imo its much more impressive when big power is wrung outta a lil engine as opposed to a big engine with big power.
well high power/litre coming from me :D lol
not high power overall though
i'm trying to run a high powered 1.3  damn thing keeps going wrong :?

me. im aiming for 100 bhp per litre naturally aspirated. oh yeah. believe it baby. its coming for ya. pee's gonna give it to ya, gonna give it to ya..
nah, bit dubious (spelling?) about attaining that much from 1.6 8 valve. no probs for 1.6 16v. but hey, i can only wish.
ya got a few of us on here now goin down that route, rysmee has already done what im gettin done, novax is runnin his 1.6 16v in, olster thinks cracking on with his 1.6 16v now.. plus many others.

agreed let is the only option for big power.
but thats not wot novas are all about, there little nippy, cheap cars that can - wen dun nicely - scare the shit outta bigger cars.
its all well and good rick havin a huuuuuge engine but the spec is more touring car than pocket rocket.....best place for ure engine is a mk3 astra, but is ure car u did wot u wanted with it and possibly have one of the best novas around . however id sooner have a car like cp's track monster than ures - cos thats wot its all about, lil engine with feck loadsa power kicking the asses of bigger cars.
jus my opinion
*edited cos i cant spell for shit
how do the insurance costs compare between a modified small block (1400 or 1600 bored, head, cam, throttle bodies or big carbs, etc) and standard big block (XE, LET etc)?

^^^^^ gud point, ne one kno???
Id go xe over the small block.
A 160 bhp xe is alot more reliable than a 160bhp 1.6
And costs half the amount!
