Paint scrtching HELP!!

in my Nova i have spayed the armrests i put about 3 layers of primer on then about 3 layers of paint, what can i put on to prevent the paint from scratching off????

did u not think to use many coats of laquer also?? :roll:

gud point, im just 17 and past bout 4 weeks back so just wanted to get it on the road, i no u'll all laf at this, but by laquer do u mean hair laquer coz ive been told that does the job or is there special stuff?

hair spray!! christ no, he means clear varnish. r u talking about the front arm rests (on the door handle) or the rear ones

the front, i have sprayed the rear in flexible paint and you cant scratch it off with owt

No i mean clear varnish. The paint should not come off at all, ive dun it in mine, n its bin fine for a year. Ive taken my trim off before now and its got scraped on the floor, but no paint damage!
