boot lock?

my car got broken into just over a week ago and the fcukers smashed all the boot lock. ive been offered a lock from a corsa and was just wondering of they are the same?

no its not mate. not only is the assembly totally different but the actual lock barrel is bigger in the corsa too.

Smooth it and put a solenoid in, not only can they not drill ur locks but it looks so much better and you always forget about locking the stupid thing anyway!!

No they ain't.....

I didn't have a clue how to fit them before I did mine but a bit of common sense and a small idea of wiring and mine was fitted in minutes.

The worst part is getting the wire down the side of the tailgate and out by the grommet thing between tailgate and roof! Some bike brake cable did that fine....also finding a power source is another problem. I suggest using a switched one like the power to the glovebox light. (youll need to up the rating of the fuse too) and my push switch fits perfectly in the choke hole.
