my car passed the mot bout a month ago, but shuda failed coz of the wheel bearing woz going, n de bloke said i ave to fix it! where can i get a kit 4om (ive see em on ebay, but i aint geting 4om dere) for rear drivers wheel? and how easy iz it to do?
a wheel beaing went on my SR at the front...cost about ?8 IIRC from a local motor factors.
its a right pain in the arse job to be honest mate...ideally you should press the old bearing out using a decent press (I used a 10T one) and then press the new one in properly.
is do-able though no doubt just a pain in the b*llocks
take it easy
:+:
did mine last month wasnt too much of a prob like i took it to where me old man works and did it there but id strongly recomend usin a press and not bodgin it
the rear bearings can simply be done with the aid of a hammer and punch.
look in the haynes manual

I wouldn't even recomend trying to change a front wheel bearing if u aint gunna use a press!
The rears are a easy, took me about a half hour to change both my rears the first time i done them and u dont need a press.
