Alreet people. I have just been out and bought a Nova after my Vectra and I had a bit of a falling out. I needed something cheap to run as I'm keeping the Vectra.

I just got myself a right bargain! 1989 1.2 Nova Merit (5 Door :( ) It's absolubtley mint though. Not much of the usual rust, spotless under the bonnet it even has the original radio and hand book!

Anyhow, we better have a good relationship otherwise she's off! Any sugestions for her, i cant decide whether to keep her standard and 'Show and Shine' her or start on the mods, what do you recon?

See you all later

hello, welcome to the site.

I think 5 doors are harder to mod than 3 doors, but there are a couple of good examples on the site. Have asearch for Lockys and Phil Suttons 5 doors. Neither are over the top, yet look better than your standard 5 door Nova.

Good luck, theres plenty of peeps who'll give you opinions on what you decide to do.

Hello and welcome.

As said before it is possible to improve the five doors but i think that you would be better off making it quicker and leaving it standard looking to annoy more people at the lights.

I'll be down at PVS this weekend. The car will be on one of the VXLSCC stands, i should be around there somewhere if anyone fancies introducing themselves.

Like i said "why?"

I'm still new so names mean nothing to me, if anything on the sig offends the rules of the board etc then i will gladly remove.

Cheers

welcome to the site mate, i am new myself and also have a 5-door hatch which i am slowly modding :D The only problem i have had so far with them being different from 3-doors is the petrol cap - you cant get them in alloy/chrome. Check out my feature if you want some ideas...

What's the issue with CC?

I'll remake the sig, without offending details.

me and ian were both on the orignal launch team for cc back in 2001.... we said going legal was a bad move and just before it got muddy we were thrown out after false allegations that we were gonna shut cc down and start our own site
