Somee of you already know, but on Sunday morning I had an accident in my car, involving a very hard fence and a motorway slip road and some 360 degree spins!!!!
Basically the front right wing and suspension and wheel etc. are totally foooooked and there is alot of work to do to the car.
I don't know how long it will take, but I will get it back on the road again, cos I don't think it is too bad and Breeny is my inspiration for fixing crashed cars, lmao!!!
So there will be a barage of techie questions in the not too distant future and also where to get the bits and spraying etc. done.

I have pics if anyone is interested, just lety me know.

John

The only trouble John, is Breenys inspiration ended up in bits and sold to Robisgrt18 lol. I'm sure that wont happen to you. Heres your first bit of advice...DO NOT use the same guy that sprayed my car! hehe.

lmao!! cheers everyone, I have stripped alot of the parts off the car now, and so far I need a new front wing, suspension strut, wheels(I know, this means get some different ones to stop the piss taking!!!), possibly steering rack and also a rear axle beam(not sure if I need the whole thing or if I can make do with separate parts or something)

Ian and Ste, you are welcome to come and hammer the front straight again if you like!! Also, I would really appreciate it if you could speak to Dave, I will be getting the parts soon hopefully.

Rick, unfortunately this does put the 2.0 on hold, but not forever!!!!

once again, cheers for any help and hopefully I will be back very soon!!!!

John

I have all the bits you need (apart from the wing which I do have but it is rusty) from when I broke my brothers SR. Suspension, Rear beam, track arms, tie bars, etc, they are in my way and will be scrapped shortly so if you collect they are free, thats ?0. I also have five LXI alloys with very good tyres which you can have for ?50. Cheers and good luck. I am in Otley just north of Leeds.:)

Ste, I know what you mean, I am considering getting the car sorted and removing the engine and then while it is off the road do the conversion. I have to see how much everything else costs first.

Amazingly, none of the front of the car was damaged!!!! the bumper is perfect and the headlights are fine. I think I was very lucky with the damage.

Cheers though.
