Do all MK1 Novas seem to have a gap between the headlights and the front bumper, and i mean like 1/2inch gap. Or is my mates Mk1 Merit bumper not correctly tightened on, but it looks as if the grille is stopping the bumper from filling the gap, which is gonna let sheds loads of water through and start rusting behind the bumper.Look at the picture below:-

What do you think, normal or dodgy bumper fitting. :? [/img]

I probably just needs trimming around the towing eye hole for the bumper to pull up, should it be secure though as it is.

I don't know why but it does seem that nost nova grills are just a little bit too big. I have the same problem.

So everyone seems to have the same gap, must be because of the grill or summit.

when i was fitting ma fusion front bumper to ma mk2 there was a good 1/2 inch gap, and on the underside of my grill it has got metal sticky out things about and inch long, and that was what was stoppin mine from goin on properly!
