fuel leak

hi my nova is leaking fuel just under where petrol cap is under car down there somewhere my mate said it looks like fuel pump are these easy to replace and is there a guide or anything??thx for help

Erm, just under the petrol cap!?!?! down there somewhere?!?!?!

I suggest you find exactly where it is before you start replacing things.

There is also a rubber seal ring on the fuel sender but I dunno where the fuel pump is on them, (i only like carbs!!), most likely there is a seal on the fuel pump part as well, I'd check these first. (sender unscrews with screwdriver and hammer on lugs).

Oh and get a bucket to catch fuel, it stings in ur eyes!!
