My car cd player in Safe Mode HELP!!!!!!!

My car cd player is in "Safe Mode" because the pin code for it was entered incorectly 10 times (not by me).
Its from a 98 Vectra and its a "CD 500" model.
Does anyone know any way to reset the thing without taking it to a main dealer as it says to inthe manual?

I would have thought that a dealer would be pricey...

Try any good Sounds shop, (oone that only does car sounds)
