Driving home from work yesterday i was confornted by what i can only describe as my personal holy grail.

An L REG (yes L) Nova 1.4 van.

On further inspection it had 37k on the clock and was absolutely mint unerneath.

wicked wicked

only one problem....

the fella had just collided with a 205 and smashed up the front end.

not only that, nerves (and a poor bank balance) got the better of me and i never asked if he would sell it.

Im now mega pissed off coz its unlikely ill get the chance again. :(

I saw an L-reg nova driving round Bramhall near me the other day, I thought there were only 1 or 2 in the country, but I know of 3 now!!!! The silver one at Max Power, the van you mentioned and the one I saw in Bramhall!!! how many are there?????

Theres a white L reg 3 door turbo diesel 1.5SX on the autotrader this week.. I told my m8 to go look @ it but he reckons he can't insure it, the faggot! :D

There are more than you think L reg novas. An few GSi's a couple of SR's and quite a few vans. People charge top dollar for them thinking they are really rare, but they arent THAT rare. I looked at two L reg ones before i bought my K reg. (couldnt find a K plate SRi in Breeze blue!!!)

As everyone said, loads of L regs about, aparently loads of vans that sheffield council used. 2 L reg gsi's at billing, one from yorkshire and jason hudson's(png tech bod)
Also heard loads of stories about an M reg van around luton area, apparently being used as a builders van! :O

i heard that quiet a few q reg's were re registered using the old 'isle of man technique'

it involves tekkin a q plate, re registerin it in IOM and then bringin it bac, woopppeee its regd as new.

cant do it anymore though due to the invention of computers.
