I think regal sell the alternator lowering brackets for some silly price but I'm sure I've seen them elswhere much cheaper. Does any1 know who else does them?

Just out of interest: 1.3 T40 owners, what size chokes and jets are you running? and what state of tune is your engine in?

Cheers all

er ... real webers ... with built in advance okay ... 59f21s + f47 and 160 airjet and 30accelerator jet .. thats with a blydenstein A pack head and AST2 cam....
we are using a Webcon Lambda sensor ... and that is showing that we are going 'orribly rich in mid range... and too lean at idle and transition... so we are looking at 40f9 or 50f11 idle jets and f11 or f16 emulsion tubes..
the air jets will probably go out to 175..

getting there...
fed up of buying these jets .. so we are starting with small holes and drilling them out untill we get 'too rich' from too lean ... then we will go and buy the equivalent proper jets

float levels are also important
Cheers

Why don't you just make one
I did, its just a square bit of plate 100mm+100mm+5mm with four holes drilled in, 2 top ones bolt to the engine and the 2 bottom ones 60mm down bolt the original alterator bracket to them using lock nuts.
Hey Presto :D and I used the same belt.
It will do me till i can get a original nova sport lowererd bracket so if anyone has one PM me.
