After getting a few quotes to have my interior retrimed, i soon realised it was guna cost way to much so i decided to have a go my self!

The door cards and back seats are finished, and i am in the progress of doing the bucket seats. Hopefully should be finished before pv!

how did you go about doing them?

im looking to buy some bucket seats soon and want to cover them myself as i want to do as much work myself on the car as possible!

Basically, i removed the original matarial from the seats, unstitched them and used all the bits as templates. It takes a bit of time but its well worth it. I kust do a litle but each evening.

Better than most you see, like you said do a little at a time and then you get bored and rush.

Nice to see your doing most of your car yourself.

looking very nice mate. I have just been and bought the material for the seats doing in my Astra Convertible. Black leather look down edges with Burgandy centres. Cost me ?70. My mate is gonna do the fitting for me. These are the ones he has just done

Cheers for the comments lads.

Im using a heavy duty leather like vinyle, (only ?10 a meter) and a heavy duty swade which i got from a local market, only cost ?6 a meter!

Hopefully should have it all fitted tonite, ill get some more picks when its done.

are you sewing the material back on after or glueing it? i want to do mine but cant sew to save my life!

Im sewing it all on with a heavy duty thread.

Dont like to say it, but im quite handy with a sewing machine :oops:

I wouldnt recommend glueing them!

Your more them welcome to post them done, and ill do them at a cost :D

i think i can manage the cards but the seats are bit more hard work!! im not sure wat i want yet .......rough price?
