Lookin to upgrade performance on my car. not got too much money atm as not started workin again yet. is it worth getting a weber twin choke 32/34 rather than my standard carb on 1.4SR?

Cheers

Yeah it is worth it, it should give a few extra bhp, they cost about 80-100 second hand of somewhere like here, i have seen them go for 30 on ebay. If you find one in a scrap yard you will probably get it for about 15 quid. But it may need cleaning/re-building.

ah good stuff, are they easy to fit, or do u know any guides to fitting them?
when its fitted does it need settin up properly etc too?

If it came off a 1.4SR Nova and you get the adaptor plate/throttle linkage etc with it when you buy it then it is just a straight swap, un-bolt Pierburg carb off, bolt on Weber, start the car and enjoy.
It is best to take it to a Rolling Road though to get it set up perfectly to get the most out of it.
Its best to buy one off the for sale section on this website, because it would have come off a Nova and should have all the adaptors and parts needed.
:D
