get a red top m8

they are 150BHP as standard, u can get the mounts from www.valvers.com

u will also need to bash part of the engine bay for it to clear the altanator

they is a full guide at www.valvers.com

i would not bother with the ecotecs m8 they ant as good as the red tops

hope this helps

if you get the ecotec get rid of the injection asap and replace with carbs or tbs as thats the main restriction on the engine. they can produce good power but are much more hastle. the red top engines are easier to find too

for this very reason alone its worth considering the eco tec

No one wants them as they are shocking in std form. which means they are probably cheaper (i dont know to be 100% sure)

if you pland to modify the lump a fiar bit, get one

bit of headwork and maybe carbs etc. you will have got rid of the restrictions and be a little better off money wise ;)

just my 2 pence

if you put an ecotec in don't you have to keep the emissions to 'ecotec levels'?
