Ground Down Arches

Alreet, ive managed to grind down my arches so ym wheels will fit under them :D

now they are ground down, whats the best method to stop them from rusting now as it is bearing the metal. They need painting obviously but is there anything special i should put on them? lol

i think u can get some sort of special rust stopper paint or u cud use underseal\wax oil

just took her for another spin, rubs very slightly over big bumps, so the grinders out again tomoz!

made my dad do it, didnt have the bottle, id fuck my car up lol

if u cant get spares from scrappy i tend not to do it

I could see myself grinding away at my arch, forgetting why i was grinding, and then realise ive ground away my whole arch lol.

u can just use hammerite to stop it rustin i painted my boot floor init wen i had the wheel well cut out n its fine.

you can buy a sealer from ur nearest bodyshop suppliers. its made for covering joints etc. it comes in a tube like silicone and can be painted over. it dries rubbery and strong - use that, its what ur bonnet skins held on to ur bonnet with. smells quite nice too :o

yer i grinded my arches and just hammerited them, worked fine. but yer dat sealer stuff is the best way to do it.
