i currently have 195/45/16 on me lil 1.2 nova an i have been told they should go straight on an i can still lower it. the thing is, my car is not yet lowered an they seem to be rubbin on the bodywork. my dad also says he thinks they are the right offset.

can i still get 16"s but thinner ones or will i have to go for 15"s or is the fact that they might be too wide not the problem at all?

take em off and find out what the offset is - should be stamped on the back

u need ET45 - ET49 to be "safe"

no they arent rubbin on the lip. they are rubbin on the inside we think. i think the wheels are too wide. i only got the car home on friday so gotta av a proper look although ive spotted some wheels in 15"s that i really like in white so i mite get them instead an sell me TSW's.

If they are rubbing on the inside then they could be the wrong offset.

we have had a proper look an discovered the tyers are rubbin on the shocks. i dunno if this is a structural problem or can i get spacers to solve this?

If they are the wrong offset and u stick spacers on then i would think u wud prob need to mod ur arches, as the arches will prob sit on top of ur wheels. not sure though :/

it could be the tires uve got on there

some tires have rounded sidewalls - others have flat sidewalls

maybe uve got some tires on the back with rounded sidewalls which are catching the shocker??
