Last year i decided to re-build my Nova. I worked on it every nite and every weekend. I completley ignored my girlfriend whilst doing so. She found someone else in my absense and i now live on my own.
Just be carefull lads! Cause you dont know what you've got till you've lost it, bleave me!

Well so far i carnt find a girl that as reliable as a car, plus your car dont answer back to you and dont mind when you sit on it and fart
but i get your point mate,as i had a simaler thing happen to me a few years back, but the funny thing is we split two years ago she whent of to uni in brum and i didnt really see her for the best part of two years, she got engaged,to her new bloke then,he found some one els and dumped her, well cut a long storry short, she moved out and back home whith her olds, well we allways stayed in touch and that, and about four weeks ago i met up with her for a drink and we got on better then we ever did/have..
So now we are seeing eachother again, never say never, its strange what life has round the next corner for you.

my thoughts exactly, plus a car isnt going to drag you along on a tediously boring shopping trips. :D
women, ffs..pain in the ass
As a female, tho, i gotta say dont judge everyone of us just cause u've had a bad experience with one. we aint all like that.
I am similar to you guys tho. My car is important. if i spend more time with it than my bf, then tough.

Yup we're not all like it....all my time is spent with my motors and I get moaned at.....i basically live at my unit but....f**k it....its all good fun.
angel_vickie
you win some you lose some.
last week, got offered my first "proper" job after finishing uni (a sodding year) and the very same day split with me gf.
the latter made accepting the job easier as i didnt have to worry about trying to get the already long distance rel to work longer.
anyway, you can look at other cars and yours wont bitch at you ;)
my ex always said to me that she would never make me decide between her or my car, cuz she she knew she would lose!
maybe that says summit, maybe also the fact that ive also spent a few k on my car and spend almost every avaliable minute working on the car!
hopefully, my new missus wont mind me spending so much time/money on the car instead of her either!
