my digidash blew up !!

lol, basically one of the tracks on the back of the plastic film like circuit board has kinda melted and torn ! The onyl thing it seems to have effected is the handbrake light on the dash

can i buy a new plastic clip on board from vaux to replace it !?

Apparently a new set of digi clocks from Vaux costs 1500 quid (that's what bloke at local Vaux garage said anyway) so I can't imagine that would be cheap either. You can solder some wire between the broken tracks.
Sounds a bit worrying if the track melted. If you follow the track does it actually lead to the handbrake light? Is the light blown too?
