Hi i have a 1.5 turbo diesel and always thort it should have a rev counter, when i removed the dials i found that the wires for one were there so i borrowed an old set of SR dials from a mate. These dint work though, the rev dial just jumped around randomly so i checked the wires with a voltmeter. At idle the reading was about 1-1.3 then when revin it shot up n down acording to how much i accelerated so i'm thinkin its the dials that are nackered.
So then, will any mk1 nova dials with a rev counter wk in a turbo diesel or do i need a special type?????? i know the red line wont be accurate as diesels have lower revs. I dont wanna buy any dials until i'm sure so any help will do.
