The piece of plant that I drive at work is an auto (Push button gear selection - no faffing about with levers!!) - OK so it only has 4 forward gears and is limited to 25MPH but yes, it is easy to drive!!!

i cant drive em, i either dont move or shoot off. I cant control the speeds at all, not good when u've got a to get it up 2 small ramps onto truck without going thru cab lol.

i didn't get used to one straight away.
i was going down motorway in one, some ass was doing my head in. so i went for the clutch and third to push the veccy to a ton.

i hit the brake so hard i gave myself whip lash.

the old mans scorpio is auto. I drove it back from liverpool. hated it. The only goood thing is wher ur trundlin along and then floor it and it has that kick down thing. Thats cool, apart from that it makes u sleepy cuz u dont really have 2 do much! Also good for traffic jams

driven a toyota landcruiser with a livestock trailer on the back, i could get used to not putting my foot on the clutch an braking.

dad used to have a 1.1fiesta auto and that flew when u rev it up to about 5-6k.
