Hi, did anyone go along to this rolling road shoot out? I just noticed that the Green L-reg Nova performed quite badly. What happened?

I thought it was a 16v Turbo not a normal 16v..any ideas guys?

its a normal 16v my m8's fitted it, the boys at the griffin centre, dont know if it was becos he only had it fitted literally a couple weeks b4, and didnt ave time to adjust everything proper.

Oh I see...So the guys at the Griffin centre took the 2ltr turbo engine out and replaced it with a normal 2ltr?!? Is the owner nuts?

I was a bit confused because the picture in the mag makes it look asthough its running the turbo engine. The inlet elbow shape gives it away (only the turbo engine has the intake running over the gearbox).

Did anyone else get a look at this car?

If you look carefully the airflow meter is right near the cone filter and i would say this is a givaway to it been a 2ltr turbo engine not a normal 2ltr 16 valve. There is no need to route the induction kit that way its just a waste of time doing that on a normal 16 valve. So i would say it must have been a turbo in the pictures. Ric

Thats what I was thinking...and the wrong BHP surely!!
