Why does everyone stick their exhausts poking out of the side of their car at an angle rather than straight??

well you never said that.


with ashley systems you get the option of straight or angled.
gsi = straight
gte/sr = angled

but you can fit the gsi straight one and adjust the bracket to fir a gte/sr.

depends, most are meant to be like that, depends wot angle the tailpipe exits the backbox i think. I need to mod the exhaust pipe on mine to make it come out straight for my new back bumper otherwise it wont fit thru the gap :twisted:

mine is at a angle because it was for a sr, when i replace it i will have a straight one. the angled one's make me think of boy racers and burberry hats

i got a janspeed exhaust that is a straight exit one. Looks and sounds gorgeous imho. Bloody thing seems to blow after long motorway journeys tho :(

you dont need to weld a bend pipe on to get straight

ive got a custom peco bb thats made for a gsi on my mk1 and that comes out at a slight angle, looks nice tho and is amazingly loud :roll:

but seen the same at an angle and it dont look that good in my eyes
