ive lost the blanking plate thing which covers the old hole! where can i get one from or what can i do instead!

Just go to a Motor accessory store and ask for a blanking plate or blanking grommet. They are bound to sell them.

weld a plate in, fill it and paint

I would do that, just tiger seal a 2pence in, or a 10pence if you are rich,LOL.
Filler over, sand smooth and spray. Simple. :D

failin that go sum where like wicks or a electrical whoile salers and ask 4 a 20mm blind gromit theyll probably give u it 4 free
