jus read summet in another post that made me think! I got banned for 12 months last july and i think they said i will have to an extended test, but will i have to do my theory again aswell? I hope not coz i was lookin forward to jus bookin my practical test a couple of days after when im allowed again!

I think if you get banned within your first two years of driving then you have to take both parts again, theory and practical.

I think if you get banned you have to do the extended test, it depends whether the court said you had to. If they did, the test lasts 70mins, and it costs ?78 to book it. Plus the ?20 for your theory.
Bet you wish you hadn't got banned now don't you. :cry:

nah never got told that at court they just took my provisional and gave me a fine and a ball and chain for the next ten years

Sorry Novaboy i keep getting you mixed up with the starter of the topic, if you got banned with a provisional then you would have needed to do your test anyway so you should be ok.
But tom_beverley will need the extended test etc.

if you got the licence and you got banned it a yes for the extended test

if you had a provisional then its no becouse you didnt have the test in the first place

i take it novaboy1000 you got court driven with out a licence

cheers for the help lads, ive been told the extended test is 45 minutes instead of 30. lol at novaboy 'impossible' test lol it will be if its 70 fuckin minutes! Looks like ill get booking both of them soon then only 2 MONTHS LEFT haha

According to the DSA web site the length of the extended test is 70mins.
