i need a program to shut a computer down

there is a dick in my class who is constantly on games and is so annoying i hate him!!
who knows of a program like a nuke which will lock his computer up?
i need it rapid ta

r-click, new > text document

type shutdown -r and save file as filename.bat

Its important its .bat....send it to ur victim saying its some weird prog or game. And boom, rebooted his pc.

try shutdown -s for shutdown, but i dont think it powers off.

you can add a timed delay too, so the user can abort the shut down.

eg shutdown -r -t 10

Reboots after 10secs, a message will be displayed on screen tho. To abort this, run another file with shutdown -a in or type it into run box (on startmenu)

This is based on Windows (dunno if all windows work this way, but xp does)

Or if your on an NT machine you can use shutgui.exe and reboot his PC, thats always good fun :lol:

another funny thing to do is replace the startup splash screen which usually say soemthing like "Windows is loading" with the old style shut down one saying "It is now safe to turn off your computer". Every time his pc starts to load he will see the now safe to shut down message and will then he will restart the machine. See how long it takes for him to realise
