evry ones bit puttin up progress pics of bodywork, thought id join in....

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0046.jpg

started to make a cold air intake in the grille like a zender mk3 astra grille- used a section of an astra mk3 morette twin headlight grille and bonded it on to a mk2 nova grille, took ages but worth it i rekon....

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0027.jpg

dont like meshed grilles so also modded the original slatting to fit the grille
http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0043.jpg

heres the grey/black interior with sterio blank plate and clock blanker (ignore the crappy wheel)

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0041.jpg

interior again - not sure bout where to put the rev counter??

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0033.jpg

zender centercaps for the wheels

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0036.jpg

englemann - alike - mirrors. there pretty much the same and alot cheaper.
http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0031.jpg

1/2 of the mattig (FIBERGLASS!?!?) splitter that had to mate to the much squarer GTE front bumper.

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0029.jpg

ended up cutting it into about 8 pieces...

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0038.jpg

wuda bin fine if it was abs plastic, but cos it was fglass took ages to manipulate......years later managed to get it to fit ok (needs finishing)- pictured with the grille
http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0044.jpg

now to cut the bumper and bigmouth the centre and put a small square plate in the right hand side as the tape shows, mite try a bonnet mounted sticky number plate

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/gary_white/progress/DSCF0045.jpg

sum (i think) cool and different things happening soon....colour and interior.....no where near done yet but gettin there - if ne one has a cage let me know.

Ooh choices choices............
grey/anthracite - classis 'street racer' colours.......
beige/brown - 'new-old skool' look.......

It's a tough decesion - good luck deciding which one!!
