breakers yards!

i phoned up a breakers today for some 15" vaux steelies and they said ?100 :o

but at the same yard they quoted me ?60 for 15" vaux alloys off a calibra

how can they do this and get away wiv it??? :roll:

(not that I'm suggesting you pay ?30 for them lol) they can't take tyres to farmers any more without getting in doo doos. they gotta pay per tyre to get rid, so steelies are usually extremely cheap unless they have very good tyres (which you don't need as they'll be the wrong size.)

i find if u talk to the owner u get stuff cheaper to as the lackys who do stuff round the yard pocket a bit extra

get the alloys then mate,as there better then some steelies

sold my ones 4 100 so if u can get em for 60 go for it - gd lookin and u can go low as a snakes ball sak on em, will look mint refurbed with a dimond cut face too.....sorta AMG-esque

them alloys aren't like those gsi cav ones they look like softstars

but i did get some gte 6 dial clocks for ?5 tho :lol:
