indicators on a mk1.

I've acquired myself a mk1 star :P to run round in whilst my gsi gets the engine rebuilt, the only trouble is its out of mot soon and the indicators don't work. the hazards don't either. fuses are ok, and the problem is intermitant. do the indicators work through the hazard switch on the mk1 as it does on the mk2?? get new switch? check da cone?

i had this problem on my mk1,i had checked all the fuses and relys but i ended up getting a auto elce out to look at it, he said that it was i wire that had come off the back of the fuse box and that was it.

aye cheers mate. it cud be anything... have forgotten to check loose wires though.
