View Full Version : Re-shell or fix it?
As ive had an accident i think my car will become a write off, if it does then ive got two options, fix it or re-shell it.
As far as i can think at the mo it would be wiser to find a shell and trasfer everything over from my car to another shell, what do you think?
It would be a MK2 shell.
Things i can think to transfer is,
Windows
Tail gate
Doors
custom interior
digi dash
engine
suspension
brakes
rear bumper
seats
Cant think of nething else.
Plus i could get new shell's engine bay welded and engine bay sorted this time.
So i could seriously start with new project from scratch....
Just not sure what i should do tho :s

the only thing with a re shell mate is all the hard work which has gone in 2 the paint
like i said on the phone
but it does seem to be an unlucky car and am gutted at whats happened least the alloys r ok
gud luck with it
are the alloys r ok cos our jack still wants to nick them :D
LMFAO @ repair!
Think it's time to re-shell Neil.
Jim

Yes, like applying the brake pedal when a car pulls out in front of you

And the 2 meter skid marks by me didnt prove that, looking back at it all i think i may have stopped just as she hit me, but like at exaclty the same time.
