Hello,

I?m new here. Max is my name and I?m from Amsterdam, Holland.
Corsaboy made me aware of this forum and I own the www.corsa-novatunig.nl site together with him.

I own a 1983 1.2 nova with a 2.0 16v, in sleeper style. Best ET from 13.94 with a Gtech on Michelin slicks on the open road.
The last 7 years I used to com to the UK a few times a year to work as a mechanic on a alcohol funny car (Lex Joon Dragracing). Even so I have never raced on Santa Pod or Shakespare county myself so far but I still want to try it.

Cheers Max :D

I?ve walked it a few times looking for a part lost from the car in the evening, and have driving the funnycar back on the strip being towed but doesn?t count does it?

Well I?m going to work for a UK/German company so I will try to bring the Nova over when I need the go the UK or maybe on a holiday. One of my mates lives near Couventry and then during a visit try to race it at the Pod.

Cheers Max :D

A 83 nova 1.2 with a C20XE + F20, diesel radiator, M-tech conversion kit, Koni yellow shocks, standard GTE rear springs and ?60 Jamex at the front, 195/50/15 on Astra-G steel wheels/or on Michelin U9B 195 slicks when racing, no rear seats and no spare tire, standard rear exhaust box (slightly modified inside), BMW 323 simons silencer under the car, no catalytic converter, standard ECU and the throttle body flowed. That?s all, not really an extreme set up. I drove the 13,94@99 mph on an open road on the slicks@1.9 bar pressure and measured with a Gtech.

Cheers max.
