hello,

I'am a newbie at this forum.

I'm from the netherlands. I 've a Nova 1.2 with a conversion to a GTE 1.6 8v.
we have a website named:
www.Corsa-NovaTuning.com (http://www.corsa-novatuning.com)

On this website are at this moment 3 different conversions.
A NOVA GTE 1.6 8v Conversion
A NOVA 2.0 8v Conversion
A Nova 2.0 16v Conversion

And more to come,

We hope asap 2 different Conversion for the Corsa to put online.

What do you guys think about our site.

good site....

but i wouldn't advise the use of washers on the rear mount due to the bolts shearing..... if you only want to use 2 bolts then cut the mount on the car and use washers on the pinch bolt

M-Tech has an other solution but this one works very good with the
conversion to 2.0 8v.
The nova where we 've tested this solutions drives at this moment for several months with not one problem.
But i'am goning to discus your solution with my mate.
Thx for the reply :D

The washers on the rear has been working perfectly so far. M-tech uses a small block of 12 mm which gives the same effect and uses the longer bolts a well and has no problems with bolt shearing what so ever. Cutting up the mount on the rear will make the mount weaker and you need to modify the standard bracket/support as well since it will touch the transmission housing.

Cheers Max

hi i been away this weekend...

we have had 2 cases of bolts snapping... maybe it's just the bad uk roads

the mount is cut to fit flush to the box, then the standard bolts are used, then the rubber mount is cut on one side and washers are added on the other side

the ideal solution is the 3 bolt mount
